The Convent
The Magdalene laundry buildings covered this area behind the convent, the buildings were badly damaged in the 2003 fire and the area then cleared by bulldozer. All that remains is the concrete and tiled floor.

Erased Past
The central part of the convent (just to the right of centre of the photograph) was badly damaged in the 2003 fire, the roof totally fallen through all three floors. All the laundry buildings at the back of the convent have been cleared by bulldozer, just the tiled floor remains.
Cleared but not forgotten
