Abandoned Ireland is a personal project started in June 2008 by Tarquin Blake.
Record it. Document it. Before it’s gone
- I started by publishing my discoveries on this website
- In October 2010 my first book 'Abandoned Mansions of Ireland' was published.
This book features all new material, which is not inculded on this website
The first print run sold out in eight weeks; the book was reprinted in 2011 and again in 2012

- My Abandoned Ireland exhibition continues to run in venues around Ireland
- In October 2012 my second volume 'Abandoned Mansions of Ireland II - More Portaits of Forgotten Stately Homes'
was published.

- My third book will be published in Autumn 2013, this is something a little different and all locations will include maps & GPS
- I am currently working on my fourth book
