The Wash Room

Around the corner from the guard house the first building we find is wash room and toilet.

The room appears to have been badly vandalised, sinks all broken. The roof is leaking in many places.

Mint Blue

The barracks follow the same layout, some with fireplaces to the left or right.

The Gents

The Barracks

Moving on from the washroom we find a row of casemated barracks to the right and a further row in front at the end of this path. This is the North-East corner of the fort.

Orange

The barrack doors are open, the windows broken, leaves and debris blow across the floor.

The structure is sound but the floor boards are green and starting to mould.
