Documenting our Heritage

Barracks

Inside the fort we find barracks, store rooms, various outbuildings

and of course the gun batteries and magazines.

We enter the Central Ops building - wooden planks cover the rotting floor

The ceiling is moulding and festering.

This water tank appears to feed a wash room outback.

Central Operations

This building is in the centre of the forts internal courtyard.

Central Divide

The fort is split in two by a central dividing wall.

Overgrown Outbuildings

The interior of the fort is very overgrown.
