Many of the floor beams are totally rotten - a huge section of the floor here has collapsed down into the basement.
Sections of the roof survive in some places but overall the house is falling to ruin.
Some areas of wall decoration where the stairs previously lead up.
The photographer carefully proceeds up the stairs to the second level.
We’ve seen stone stairs just like this collapsed down into the basement in many other houses.
