Something creeks on the floorboards upstairs.. it sounds like a shuffle of feet.. then all quiet.

Slowly one step at a time I head up the stairs to investigate.

Pushing through the trees eventually the house looms up on me..

I swear it was a sunny day just now.. but the house and forest seem to swallow the daylight.

It's just about noon but it feels like the sun is about to set!

The place is desperately creepy.. A sense of darkness engulfs me..

I think about running back to the village and telling them I couldn't find the place.

Is there any such thing as a ghost? I hold my breath for a couple of seconds..

Then press forward and open the front door, I step inside and pull the door closed behind me.

Slowly and cautiously I go through the house from top to bottom before even taking my camera out..

I want to be sure I'm quite alone here. I find the chests that the locals mentioned stacked on a table upstairs.

Nothing seems to be strange..

I head back downstairs and set up my camera and tripod.

Slowly I go through the house making my photographs.

All is still,  all is quiet.

I start to get a feeling I'm not alone in here. It’s not comfortable.

I try and speed up so I can get this job done quickly and report back 'no ghosts'.
