A few remnants of fine plaster work still cling to a couple of walls in the tower.

The disused Protestant church and Talbot family mausoleum, built 1766 can be found

a short distance from the house.

It’s time to head off - I pack up and leave Mount Talbot just as I found it.

These outbuildings now form part of the farmyard, but they were attached to the original Palladian structure by curved open arcades.
