Documenting our Heritage
Goss Brook House was built around 1790.
The two-storey over basement house was originally two bays at the front and two bays at the side. The house was later extended to the rear.
The 1911 census records Denis Deey, age 48, farmer as the head of the house. Denis was accompanied in the house by his wife Aedleid Deey, age 37 and one domestic servant: James Dooley, age 24.
