Glenmore House forms part of the Oldbridge estate.


Oldbridge was acquired by John Coddington from the earl of Drogheda in 1729 and Oldbridge House became home to the Coddingtons until the early 1970s.


Around 1800 Glenmore House was home to Nicholas Coddington and his family.


In 1911 Glenmore House was let by John N. Coddington to Matilda Helen Mc Donnell age 50, her sister Margaret W C Mc Donnell age 41 and aunt Rose Emily Mc Donnell age 70. The Mc Donnells had a staff of six:  Bridget Mary Smith age 41 employed as a cook, Elizabeth Meany age 25 employed as a maid, Margaret Cumisky age 26 employed as a house maid, Mary Kavanagh age 31 employed as a laundress, Annie Colgan age 24 employed as house maid and Bridget Mary Ryan age 21 employed as a kitchen maid.
