Coming up to Cloghleagh on a bright sunny day, who would guess that two entire garrisons of the castle had been murdered over the fight for it’s ownership and an English army slain right on these very fields....

I pack up my gear and trek back across the hills...

The door is welded closed and I’m not allowed entry..

With some of the finest curved corners I’ve ever seen, the castle is still in remarkably good condition for something that has been left abandoned for centuries.
