The interior of the house is filled with rubble and debris from the collapsed structure above.
This rubble comes to a height of 1 metre or more in places.
Check here the fireplaces and doorway on each side - the doorways are filled with debris to about half their original height
Remains of the bell pull mechanism still hang from the walls
These cables mechanically activated bells in the basement below, used to summon servants whenever their service was required.
We find some remains of the amazing curved ceiling which covered the front hall of Clogher House. The curve of the ceiling flowed through to the very graceful archway.
