Ballisodare Train Station
The first train station I’ve photographed!
This place is a death trap! My foot goes straight through the floor twice before I find something solid to stand on.
Here’s the ticket counter
The flakey sign reads ‘TICKETS’
The station master ‘lived in’. This is his kitchen at the back of the station - living accommodation appears to be upstairs over the ticket office and waiting room. The stairs are long gone, rotted away with the roof and floor boards.
These places were built to last.
