I’ve just trekked a fair distance down lanes and across fields through torrential rain.
Thankfully as I approach the house the rain turns to a light drizzle.
The weather is terrible, the sky dead grey and it’s a constant fight trying to keep the camera lens dry.
But I’m wearing full waterproofs and been wanting to visit Ballingarde for months - lets go in!
There was originally a huge statue of Hercules in the vicinity of the lone tree.
If anybody knows what happened to the statue please do get in contact or better still send in a photograph!
Unfortunately little remains of the internal structure.
